we arrived in amarillo late, drove through creepy areas but finally met our kind host debra, who offered us homemade lemonade and had quiet a talk with us. the next day we had a little breakfast together, after which we continued our journey. just a few miles outside of amarillo we visited the famous ‘cadillac ranch’, a rather ridiculous route 66 attraction. we sprayed a bit and watched a totally unnecessary daylight-fireworks show, made by some wannabe-celebreties that happened to be there. also, we made this terrific polaroid picture. props to v and j for this fine acting!
